What I liked
i was impressed by the way the staff and doctors quickly dealt with my symptons and wasted no time in getting me treated the next day. they told me straight away what they were going to do. and they were very friendly.
What could be improved
the only thing i will say is that i had to sleep overnight in a &e due to the fact that there was a shortage of beds on the wards. but they did bring me down a proper bed to sleeep in then once they diagnosed my condition they put me in a ward in the morning albeit it was in a womans ward, having said that i cannot thank them enough for their kindness and prompt action. and i was operated on in a couple of hours.
Anything else?
after my angioplasty i was then asked to attend the cardiac rehabilitation programme at st. peters, which was voluntary, ihave to say that i,m very glad i did all the girls there were so very helpful and kind and certainly knew their stuff. they give you so much confidence to carry on with everyday life. it was a very rewarding experience and i cannot thank them enough, i would really recomend that anyone who has had heart procedure should take the opportunity to attend the cardiac rehab programme as it is very benificial and there are also educational classes on a wednesday after the gym sessions, thanks to everyone who helped me.
"very reasuring to know that the hospital will try..."
