Most women fear that time in their life when the routine cervical smear comes around but having confidence in your GP and the services that they provide goes a long way in alleviating some of that fear. From the moment I was shown into the room (on-time by the way) i was as ease. Gail whom I have seen before made me comfortable as she could knowing that the dreaded smear was about to take place. She spoke to me about what she was going to do at every stage and we spoke about general day-to-day matters which helped also. After the smear was done she explained that I would receive the results through the post. Gail then proceeded to ask me a few questions about my health and then took my blood pressure (3 times which was around 99) so she advised me to make an appointment with the nurse again to get this checked out. As I had previously been to the doctors a few months back with a lump between my breasts on my chest I had questioned this as it had not gone away so she also advised that I really should get it checked out with my GP. With that I have a double appointment in the beginning of November. I have always been happy with the service that Greyfriars Medical Centre and the staff provide and I would just like to say a Big thank you to all the staff for the excellent care that they take of me and my son.
Thank you
"Big thank you to all the staff"
