"Awful"

What I liked

One of the midwives I saw (out of about 10) was really lovely. Unfortunately she wasnt the one looking after me. We also managed to get a private room atfer the birth (atfer some convincing) where the care was good.

What could be improved

I went to the hospital in labour, 8cm dilated and there was no one there to speak to or get me a bed. My miwife was rude and disrespectful to me and my two birthing partners. She was generally not very supportive through my labour. I ended up tearing very seriously because the midwife didnt give me an episotomy in time. She made the whole pleasant very upsetting, at a time which should have been one of the happiest of my life. We saw 4 midwifes in the end, and three out of the four were rude.

Anything else?

I was very dissapoined in the care I recieved at Mayday.
