I had a meeting with Julie to discuss my drinking problem and the possibility of going into an 18 week residential rehabilitation programme, following 2 previous unsuccessful home detoxes.
Subsequent meetings held with Mel and Charlotte in attendance as well as Julie. Their advice on drinking related problems and the day to day reality of the BAC O'Connor Rehabilitation Programme was extremely honest and informative.
The fact that all 3 ladies had successfully completed the programme and were so totally honest with their stories of addiction made me feel extremely comfortable and able to be honest with them about myself. The fact that their lives were now so positive gave me lots of inspiration and hope that sobriety and life could again be available to me.
I am now on week 6 of the programme, feeling and looking so much better already. I have high hopes for the future and very grateful to the RIOT team.
