"Victamised By New influx Of Jr Docs!"

About: National Hospital for Neurology & Neurosurgery - Queen Square

What I liked

As always I was treated very well during my stay. The Nurses, Healthcare Assistants, housekeeping staff, Porters all did a fantastic job in lokking after me.

What could be improved

Communication between various staff. WI-FI would have been great.

Anything else?

I feel that this new infuluctation of Jr Doctors have dropped the ball completely. They speak down to patients and look at them with distain, Not only were they very rude to myself but to the nurses on the ward. I had a very bad recation to an injection I had received and it wouldnt stop bleeding. No Jr doctor came the nurses aide (after 6hrs of bleeding the nurses manage to stop the flow of blood) they never even acknowledge wat had happened.

By sunday evening I was so distressed by my treament or lack of it from the Jr Doctors I wanted to go home. Twice on sunday I broke down on the ward and twice again I broke down on the monday. I felt victimized, ignored & truamatized by my ordeal. It got to the stage that when it came to ward rounds I would leave the ward or have a long shower just to avoid seeing thm.

I didnt want to come in the first place but I was urge (nagged to death) by my Consultant, The Specialist Nurse, my GP. Heck my brother even flew in from New York to try the face to face convincine talk...lol. So I finally managed to pack a bag and let my sister drive my up for admission.

I would still recomend this hosptail inspite of the disguting treament/attitudes of some Jr Doctors. The Consultants are brilliant and the many of the other staff are lovely.
