Monday evening before I went out, I had a terrible nosebleed. I was taken to Tameside hospital. After a very long wait still bleeding, a doctor came along and stuck two look-alike tampax up my nose. After the initial shock I was feeling terrible, that's the reason we go to hospital in the first place, but any one I asked for some sort of service, like tablets, food, gravy, tissues, where is the toilet, they all disappeared. But services got better towards the end.
I was sent home Wednesday evening. By Satuday afternoon I was back in hospital and told they were sending me to Manchester Royal. The above hospital also did the disappearing act when asked for services. To cut a long story short they sent me back to Tameside Hospital.
By the way I still got my cottage pie in my bag waiting for my gravy.
I spent the last three days in the elective unit Tameside, wonderful people all round.
