What could be improved

During my appointment, after i had my first test, another patient was seeing the same ophthalmolgist while i waited outside in the waiting area. I had a number of tests and after each one, another patient would go in whilst i was waiting. It felt like i was sharing my appointment with other people. I also felt like i did'nt have time to explain my symptoms because the doctor did'nt ask me, i just had a test done and then waited outside or got taken to another room for a different test. No one explained to me what each test was and what it was for, they just did them. I feel like the staff need to communicate with their patients more and ask them about their symptoms and explain what each test and examination is for.
