About: Doncaster Royal Infirmary / Trauma and orthopaedics

(as the patient),

the care by the doctors was excellent but i felt the nursing care that i experienced was poor.

one of the bank nurses was telling dirty jokes to patients old and young alike, they wore a cross on their uniform which made you think they were approachable but then i was shocked to discover their inappropriate behaviour.

my tablets were taken off me with no explanation and were only given to me once I had gone into withdrawal which caused pain in my muscles and when I asked for pain relief I was told to change the record.

I witnessed what i felt was a bullying attitude towards patients from some of the nursing staff and some nurses talked to patients in a condescending manner.

On a good point the ward was very clean which was impressive
