About: Eastbourne District General Hospital / Cardiology

(as the patient),

i was taken into EDGH with cardiac chest pain by ambulance. i was taken into a corridor where the medics and myself waited 45 mins to be placed from a corridor into the ressusitation unit.

the nurse could not find the equipment that she was looking for, which i understand was due to the department having been re decorated.

i did not recieve any treatment before i was moved into minor injuries and placed in a cubicle & again left. a nurse came after 20 mins and placed me on a cardiac monitor & took a ecg then left me to see a dr.

no one came for 3 hrs. i had no bloods done or any medication during this time. when a doctor did come they offered 2 paracetamol or 1 tramadol then proceeded to use a former canular site to take blood.

i was released at 4am without having a trope test to determine whether i had suffered a heart attack.
