What I liked

I was admitted to Delamare ward for a keyhole operation. This was my second visit to Delamare for unrelated conditions and on both occasions the nursing staff were very kind, gentle and friendly, despite working under the pressure of being short staffed. The food was good and I would thoroughly recommend St Albans Hospital. My consultant was excellent. People are always knocking the NHS, but in all my experiences I have found the staff to be dedicated and sympathetic.
