"Happy or sad I was listened too"

Widening horizons, I feel, have taken me under there wing. They have listened to me whenever I have needed it, both when I was happy or sad.

I was on a downward spiral, going faster and faster, I was drinking heavily and although I have had quite a few detoxes, as soon as I felt stressed I drank again.

Widening horizons, my keyworkers, and the rest of the team have been there for me. They have learn't me skills to cope with everyday problems and coping strategies to deal with cravings and triggers for me to drink, I feel I have been encouraged and supported without being judged.

I have now been nearly six months without alcohol and I no longer want a drink. I have learn't other ways to occupy my time, the course I have just finished has ecouraged me to go onto further courses available.
