What I liked

I had an urgent tonsillectomy (I'm 25) on March 29 and despite being a painful thing to go through, my hospital experience overall was fantastic. I was on the short-stay ward in a large room that was private. It was exceptionally clean and although the staff for the ward was small, they were very attentive. It was not noisy or crowded during my stay. The nurses and other workers were very polite and helpful and got paperwork done in a timely manner. The morning after my surgery, discharge was kind of crazy-- they had a shortage of beds for incoming patients, so a cleaner prepared my room for the next patient as I waited in a chair for my medications and discharge papers, but they were very apologetic about it (it wasn't that much of an inconvenience anyway!).

I can definitely say that I recommend Pinderfields as a patient. I was dreading this surgery and stay, but every step of the way, from getting directions to my ward from a custodial crew member to conversing with the anesthetist, was a positive experience. I have no complaints whatsoever!

What could be improved

I can't find any fault!
