i have been under the care of my doctor for the last 15 years and while under his care have had quite a few operations including an hysterectomy in 2003.all of which i was very happy with...i was due to be booked in for a ovarian cyst removal tomorrow the 23rd feb (to have the cyst the ovary and some of my adheshions removing...i recieved a phone call on fri cancelling my op due to an emergency and was rescheduled for 3 weeks time....now what i am so annoyed about is i have been waiting since the beginning of dec for this op so to have it now cancelled is heartbreaking i am in agony all of the time and havnt even been to work for 3 month(my op was cancelled for a possible cancer patient and i would never expect to b seen before someone suffering from that devastating disease but what does annoy me is why do i then have to be put back a further 3 weeks..shouldnt i have been put into the next available slot and each patient in turn put back 1 week...ive tryed ringing a few different departments to complain about this and have had no luck...i have 3 children and my life is put on hold due to the pain i am suffering and thats without my abcence from work at 1 time all my ops where done pretty quick and everything was great but now it just seems we are fobbed off with excuses.
