I've been coming to Guernsey House now for about a year. I'm on Suboxone, I always wanted to be on Suboxone so I was pleased they listened to me.
I did a fairly fast reduction over the last 3 months, and feel this was perhaps a bit fast so want to talk to the doctor today about steadying the pace a bit.
I'm confident I'll be off by Christmas, that's the aim. I'm setting myself reasonable times and I'm happy that staff are going at my speed.
I'm sorted with accomodation so have never needed help from anyone here for that. I feel really supported by my keyworkerand I am working towards getting my child back.
I see my keyworker once a week, which is just the right amount. Sometimes I nip into Guernsey, but most of the time I'm seen at home. That suits me,
I'm definitely recovering, it's a slow game but it's happening.
