"Without the help and understanding from Maureen and the clinic I don’t know where I would be now"

I want to say a big thank you to the M.E / CFS team Dr Wright’s clinic at Breightmet health centre. I suffered a chronic relapse in October where I was bed-ridden due to my M.E. I had to be learned the basics again like walking, eating, washing.

I got discharged from hospital so frightened and confused. I didn’t properly know what had happened to me. I felt despair and at a very low place.

I arranged to see Maureen Parry at the M.E clinic where I was put on a lifestyle programme management course.

I have never looked back; the course has taught me to gain control over my life and condition. Maureen explained about the strent pacing to control my condition and worked with me on a lot of different issues and techniques concerning my M.E.

Without the help and understanding from Maureen and the clinic I don’t know where I would be now. I am working hard now to gain control over my life.
