"Brain Tumour Operation"

I attended John Radcliffe Neurology wing in November 2010. I had been diagnosed as having a brain tumour in the upper left portion of my brain and whilst it was thought to be unlikely to be malignant, I was still seen with 4 weeks of diagnosis.

The surgeon, Mr Kamat, and all his team were very professional and I felt I knew exactly what was to happen. I was only in hospital for 3 days and was told before leaving that the biopsy had come back as a benign tumour which was very reassuring.

The cleanliness of the ward was generally good and the quality of food was also of a good level. My only real complaint would be about the noise the trainee/university staff made on an evening. Quite clearly they had no appreciation that patients were trying to sleep after major operations and made an excessive amount of noise.
