"Lack of communication"

An original referral by my GP to a hospital department was lost, resulting in 4 weeks of lost time. When it was re-submitted, the details which had been specified by my GP, requesting a specific Dr and asking for certain requirements to be met, were overlooked. We are now onto a third attempt at the same referral. The lack of sensitivity towards females who require a female doctor to see them is astonishing, as is the lack of communication and lack of empathy.
