"Just a question?"

About: Ashley House

(as the patient),

When the new service providers are appointed at Ashley House will I be able to attend whatever there service entails?

I was previously asked to leave TTP due to an incident that had occured and if current members of staff remain in Ashley House will I still be able to attend the groups/services that are put in place if they are to continue there employment here?

At present I am left with no support from Ashley House in a professional manner, I attend service user groups, breakfast club and am involved in the up and coming volunteering scheme but feel that I have no support for my substance misuse problem. There is currently no where for me to attend when I need to speak to someone and obtain advice and support.

Thank you for your question.

The new service providers will be asked to initially work with those people who are currently with TTP and were at risk of having no support or help in place once they had withdrawn from the borough.

I am concerned though that you feel as if there is no support for you. I’d like to suggest that once it is known who the new service provider is that you approach the manager of that service, explain the position you’re in and see if they would be able to work with you, giving advice & support.

If you feel that isn’t an option that is open to you then please contact me here at the council so we discuss your situation and see what else might be available to you.

Good luck

Steve

Thank you so much for your feedback we all need this to help us find a way forward.

I can't comment on any particular individual treatment issues but I would like to say that no matter what happens on the 15th April I would like to offer my support if you feel it at all possible you can come in and see myself at Ashley house.

We could hope to find a way forward in supporting you

Its also great to know that peer to peer and breakfast club are helping you and other services user move forward

Once again thank you
