I suffered a heart attack on 29th January. I was rushed from Barnstaple to Wonford by an ambulance crew that treated me as if I was their own. Immediately on arrival I was operated on and was back recovering on a ward within an hour.
Once I was on the ward I was so well looked after that I was strong enough to go home to my partner and 13 week old daughter after 3 days.
I am glad I have this opportunity to thank the extremely talented and caring team that looked after me. It's because of you that I'm still here and we're all very grateful.
