I broke my right arm on Ice in late Nov 2010. The ambulance service was prompt, the A&E efficient. I was kept in overnight as I had to have an operation and then the next day, I was suddenly sent home to let "nature take its course"
As an out Patient, the service has been quite efficient and punctual. We saw 5 doctors in the Northern General fracture clinic and only two were communicative. The rest said hardly anything and didn't answer any questions. I think this is not very good (NO REASSURANCE)
The bracing clinic was excellent even though earlier on I was told my "pain would pass in a week"--- this was not true
Physio- I was given too many exercises too frequently ad this caused pain and swelling.
On the whole, the service was good
