Anything else?

my mum had an operation here in dec 2010, we got there in the morning ready for the operation, we were told she would be away from us for up to four hours, 1 hour getting her ready and 2 hours for the actual procedure and an hour recovery, so we went to the hospital restaurant and hung around waiting. we went back to the ward 4 hours later and they could'nt tell us anything all they said was no news was good news and sent off again we eventually got to see har again seven hours later and was told she had to stay longer cause she needed more morphine than normal so things did'nt go as planned. we wish we could of been updated on how she was cause we were left to worry which was'nt a very nice experience. during her stay a doctor or surgeon was supposed to see her and inform her of how the operation went and what to expect from then on but she saw nobody. we asked to see somebody to answer our questions and told they would be round but like i said they never did. i am really disgusted about the lack of communication there is between patients and their relatives, we were just left with unanswered questions. she is now discharged and 3 weeks later still does'nt know anything on how the operation went and what to expect, even after us ringing them with the same questions, no one has got back to us.2010Opening hoursCanteenWardDoctorsSurgeonsVisiting timesCommunication
