"catheter fitted"

About: Queen Elizabeth Hospital / Urology

(as the patient),

beginning of july 2010.I had to go to q.e.hospital,in an ambulance,I couldnt urinate.I was eventually seen by a doctor(i think he was a doctor)

A catheter was fitted.waited 4 hours told to go home,a district nurse will see me after afew days.Absolutly no information given, nothing.the inconvienience and discomfort was awful.

a week later I saw a district nurse,I was told how to turn the catheter on,no help at all.I waited a couple of weeks, got a letter from the hospital appointment for september,i eventually saw a man who stuck a finger up my bottom, and told me to make another appointment later,2 months later, due to go again at end of november.when I had finger up my bottom,I was also prescribed tamsulosin.I looked up on the internet and found finasteride, shrinks prostate,I went to my doctors and had them prescribed to me.

Every time i have phoned queen elizabeth hosp, the phone just rings and rings,Ive had no help whatsoever .WILL IT EVER GET ANY BETTER?
