I'm 15 years old and I've been to the Royal Manchester about 6 times now since I had to start coming here. The doctors are alright.
I don't really like coming to hospital just because it's not nice going to hospital. The doctors don't do anything to help me feel less worried but they're generally friendly. They explain to me and my mum what they're going to do which is good.
We could drive to my previous hospital at Booth Hall but we can't drive to this one - it's too far. We have to wait for transport to pick us up, and then afterwards we have to wait for transport to take us home - we've waited for 4 hours before.
There's lots of toys for young kids but nothing really for me to do. I liked the game stations at my previous hospital (Booth Hall). It was an old hospital but I liked it more, especially because it was so much closer so coming to hospital didn't take almost all day.
