Following a very positive experience involving my first stay at an NHS hospital where I received fast and efficient treatment, I was disappointed to note how poor the follow up treatment is.
I could not get an appointment despite giving 8 days notice to see my GP. When I attended the Heartlands X-ray dept I was asked to change into a thin, short gown & sit about half naked in a crowded waiting area with my clothes on my lap.
I was very embarrassed and I would not go through this procedure again under any circumstances. I am a 54 year old male.
