"I recently visited A&E, where I was seen..."

About: North Manchester General Hospital

What I liked

I recently visited A&E, where I was seen by the triage nurse who was mannerly but no observations where taken and I was in pain. No pain relief was offered. I was made to sit in the reception area. The area was dirty and cold.

I was then called to see a doctor 2 hours later who was very helpful. She asked the nurse to give me some tablets. The nurse arrived did not ask me who I was or explain what the tablets she was giving me where. I spilt the water she give me on the trolley she just covered it up with the grown at the end of my bed.

It was very wet it was only when an agency nurse came to give me more tablets - she did check my details and noticed the water spilled. She immediately changed the sheet and was upset that the previous nurse had left it like that.

I would not return to this hospital or recommend the A&E
