"I would like take this opportunity ..."

About: Royal Bournemouth General Hospital

What I liked

I would like take this opportunity to thank all members of your staff who I had any dealings with on both occasions. They were invariably polite, caring and helpful – I can find fault with none of them, and it would be unfair on the others to single out anyone in particular. I am not only referring to the medical staff but to everyone, from consultants to nurses to those who cleaned the floor. What particularly impressed me was that I could see no evidence that staff have been trained to trot out meaningless statements (e.g. “have a nice day”). Each one was, as I say, polite, caring and helpful, but in their own individual manner.

What could be improved

I can imagine that if I had paid privately I could have had the operation performed a little quicker, and perhaps had a pretty picture on the wall. I cannot believe that I would have anything better to say about the staff or the quality of medical care.

Anything else?

I am sorry to see some of the negative comments from others. I believe that the proportion of dissatisfied patients who make comments is greater than the proportion of satisfied patients who make comments.
