I had intravenous conscious sedation today as I needed 2 x wisdom teeth out and I am a nervous patient. I was really not looking forward to the treatment. I am so happy to say it went brilliantly. The staff were superb. I was made to feel as much at ease as possible. The sedation was brilliant - I know I must have been awake but I really, truly don't remember any of it other than the injection in the hand and then being asked to sit up slowly to leave when my partner was brought in from the waiting room. I can't thank the two members of staff (dentist and dental nurse) who dealt with me enough. I would so recommend this treatment to anyone who is very stressed about dental treatment. A huge thank you to all at the Birmingham Dental Hospital from a very grateful patient. Many thanks...Alison x
