"Friendliness and helpfulness of ..."

About: Lymington New Forest Hospital

What I liked

Friendliness and helpfulness of doctors and nurses. The consideration shown to myself and my sister when my mother was dying. They could not have been kinder.

My mother had commented that the staff smiled when they passed her bed, and they seemed happy and with time to be friendly. She compared that very favourable with a previous experience in another hospital.

There was plenty of room round the bed so I felt comfortable visiting.

What could be improved

I couldn't get through to anyone the office the next day when I wanted to collect the death certificate so finished making two journeys.

My mother's only criticism was that the coffee had little flovour, but that is a very trivial problem

Thank you for taking the time to post your positive comments as a difficult time. I will ensure that the staff are made aware of these. Please accept my apologies that you could not get through to anyone in the office the next day. I will ensure that this is looked into. Best wishes.
