"Maternity Unit was amazing - would highly..."

I can not thank and praise the whole staff team at the Diamond Jubilee Maternity Unit at Lister Hospital enough.

From the moment I phoned in when I was in early labour, to the moment I was discharged, I must have seen approx.30 different professionals, all of whom treated me with the utmost care & respect.

My birth wasn't straightforward but at no time did I feel worried or unsafe.

After the birth, myself and my daughter were looked after extremely well on the postnatal ward - so much so that when I went back to give a card & gifts, I got quite emotional.

I would recommend any parent to go to the Lister Maternity Unit & I will always be thankful that for a first time Mum, a potentially very scary experience was made to be such a lovely memory.
