What I liked
i am actually th daughter of a patient and this was my first experience of a hospice. My dad spent the last 5 days of his life at St Josephs just before christmas and myself, my mum and my brother can not fault the hospice in any way. My dad was treated with dignity and respect at all times and i cant think of anywhere else i would have wanted him to spend his last days. We were also treated very well and made to feel comfortable while staying there with my dad. I was a little worried we were going to be asked to leave at some point but this never happened and im very grateful for that. This was the most sad and stressful time of my life but it was made easier because of the fantastic support and care given by each and every member of staff in the hospice. Thank you all so very much for everything. xxx
