"Avoid this hospital"

I was supporting my friend who is deaf, after waiting an hour over the time we was given on the letter we finally saw a staff member who works on behalf of the Consultant at the throat,ears and Nose clinic at guys hospital London (Great maze pond), during the chat they rudely answered a phone call while we was in a meeting with them to then have a student present with us with out my friends and my consent...this came across to me as very unprofessional. To add to matters this staff member told my friend that if hearing aids do not work then he will never hear again yet st Thomas hospital told us that he has healthy Cohlears wich will able him to hear 100% with a cochlear implant, they also added that there was no need for us to have attendeded the appointment that they had sent to us in the post so we wasted a journey from Kent to London for nothing, my advice is to avoid this hospital as my friend came out feeling depressed and lied to, not to mention that we didn't have to attend in the first place!! Rubbish hospital and staff...Avoid
