Thankyou to all the staff on the Surgical Admissions Lounge (SAL) Admission Date 6/4/17

I am a 50 year old female who was admitted to the SAL ward as a day patient to have a lump removed from my breast.

I'm not given to writing reviews.

However on this occasion I feel that I simply have to acknowledge the amazing work carried out by the team on this ward.

The staff could not have been more professional and supportive.

I was treated with great care, respect and dignity at all times.

I felt that throughout the day my comfort and wellbeing was their main priority.

From my experience, it is clear that all of the staff on this ward take a great deal of pride in their work and carry out their duties in a caring and professional manner.

They are all doing an amazing job under what I imagine are very trying circumstances.

As a patient, I am proud of the care that I received.

I feel very fortunate that I was looked after by a truly amazing team.

In addition to my experience on this ward, I would also like to acknowledge the excellent care given to me by the anaesthetist and surgical team.

Again, the staff were informative,charming and caring at all times.

I truly appreciate all their hard work to care for me and would like to say 'thankyou'
