About: Royal Cornwall Hospital (Treliske) / Gynaecology

I spent 2 nights here following a total hysterectomy and cyst removal. All the staff were brilliant the nurses and HCA were brilliant all worked hard were helpful, kind and nothing was too much trouble. The nurse in charge when i was in was great and was the hca on nights who had to come in hourly to do my BP! The consultant who I saw athe clinic and who then did the operation was really kind and certainly put our minds at rest.

My overall impression of the ward and the staff was great.

The only negative about it all is the food which was awful but that was nothing to do with the care I received.

Thank you for taking the time to get in touch and give feedback about your recent experience at the RCH Truro. I have passed your lovely comments about your stay on Eden Ward to Natasha Trewhela, Ward Sister. I know that Tash will be delighted to receive such positive feedback about her team and she will ensure that your comments are shared amongst the staff.

I was however sorry to hear that you were disappointed with the food during your stay. I have passed your feedback on to our colleagues at Mitie so that they are aware of your disappointment.

Patient feedback is very valuable in ensuring we can address issues to improve the experience for anyone undergoing similar care or treatment in the future so thank you once again for taking the time to contact us.
