"2015 & 2016 the difference foe me!"

Yesterday we had photos and interviews from the London marathon & Southampton 10k, half & full marathon

As The Mayor of Southampton in 2015, I had the honour of starting the Southampton race. This year I've spent the past few days in Wessex Hospital Chandlers Ford having had a full knee replacement

If you are reading this, I was so lucky to be sent here by the NHS as part of their programme to ease pressure on their services.

I feel extremely privileged, the treatment has been amazing - I am truly blessed.

Thanks to all who are helping in my recovery - my next stop ( for which I will pay) will be at Greenview Care Home, Lockerly which is run by a friend of mine - could almost be Good Times!
