"Excellent service for cervical disc removal and..."

I saw the Consultant at the hospital in August 2016.

I was given plenty of time to ask questions and enough information about my spinal damage to make a decision whether to go ahead with an operation.

I was told about the procedure to rectify it and what to expect with post operative recovery.

I was offered 2 dates for the operation at this initial consultation.

I was extremely surprised that I only had to wait 3 weeks.

That allowed me to plan ahead for post operative care, without waiting for months in limbo and worrying about outcomes.

Brilliant.

The hospital worked extremely efficiently and there was a clearly explained timeline of events.

After the operation the Consultant gave feedback.

The procedure was to remove a cervical disc.

The Consultant in fact removed two, as once I was examined under anaesthetic, it was clear a second one was damaged.

I had two follow up appointments and discharged.

To date I have not had any nerve pain which was the outcome I was hoping for.

I would certainly recommend the Hospital, Consultant. and staff.
