"Listened to my problem with compassion"

About: Back on Track (Hammersmith and Fulham IAPT)

(as the patient),

I came to Back on Track because of my anxiety that makes my blood pressure high. I worry a lot of what’s been said and what’s not important. I learn how to manage this anxiety and, in the process, lessen the worry and reduce my blood pressure. My therapist listen to my problem with compassion. She is careful not to misjudge my situation. She also makes examples of the situation ‘what if’ – I’ve learnt to reason with myself and how to avoid feeling anxious. Thank you.

Thank you so much for posting your story. I am delighted to hear that you felt that the work with Back on Track helped you and that you were treated with compassion.

It is wonderful to hear that your anxiety and worries were helped and that your blood pressure reduced. I do hope that other people in a similar situation will read your story and be encouraged to seek help themselves.

Thanks again for posting and I wish you all the best in the future.
