"My stay in the day surgery unit"

About: Circle-Nottingham NHS Treatment Centre

My stay with you was an absolute pleasure, (if being in hospital at can be pleasurable ) the staff were polite and nothing was too much trouble for them ,

I thought it was a good thing that the surgeon and the anethatist both came to see me before the op , that put me right at ease , also just sitting there waiting would have been more stressful if I was ignored by all the staff but I wasn't, every one without exception asked If I was ok which was fantastic

I went to theatre and again everyone there were lovely , putting me at ease once again .

They continually asked which hand they were operating on so as not to make a mistake

They told me throughout the operation what was going to be done so nothing was a surprise

I had an operation on my finger and so may not have been able to dress myself, I did manage but was asked twice if I needed help dressing which was in my opinion very thoughtful

To top everything off, the nurses at the other end of the op ( when I sat having my obs done) were marvellous, asking if I was ok and would I like a drink and a biscuit

Overall if I have to come into any hospital at all, I want it to be this one, your staff deserve a full 10/10

Thank you for sharing your feedback.

The staff in Gateway G were delighted to know that you found the team to be polite and that you were made to feel at ease throughout your stay at the Treatment Centre.
