I was admitted via ambulance from my doctors surgery on Monday 10th April and arrived at Medway at midday. When I arrived with a possible brain hemorrage. I was left waiting in the waiting room for 10 hours. The whole time I was not reviewed by a nurse or a doctor. No blood tests was done or scans. I had to call the nurse to help and all they done was my temperature and bp readings. I suffered with 3 severe nose bleeds. My sister told 3 people and no one helped. It come to 10pm and I had to raise my voice to get noticed. Another nurse had seen I was distressed and looked into it. I was marked as I went home but In fact I didn't. On my records it is marked with chest pain which I did not have. I told them and they rushed me around the the main emergency part to be seen. I was sent home with only 1 blood pressure tablet and told to come back in the morning. I could have died! My head and brain was aching, I had several nose bleeds with severe high blood pressure! Poor care all together! On the other hand I can not fault lister ward, nurses and consultants when I returned the next day from admission to being discharged where excellent, lovely and caring
"A&E dept.. disgusting care"
