"Their care has made a huge difference"

About: University Hospital Monklands / Renal (Ward 1)

(as a relative),

My dad is a patient at Monklands Renal Unit and has been for over 7 years, they have made a huge difference to his life. He recently had a fall and needed to go to Hairmyers. After discharge we contacted the Renal Unit for help and advice and they went above and beyond to help us. They are like a family, without them my dad would not be alive.

I want to say thank you, every time we contact them they give such good advice. All of the nurses are so good.

Colette, Anne-Marie, Karen, Dr Shilliday, Dr Price, and the whole team are all life savers.

Dear Roriboy12

I am sorry to hear that your dad has had a fall and required to be admitted as a result of this and hope that he is recovering well.

Thank you for your kind comments regarding the staff within the renal unit. I will ensure that this is passed to the relevant members of staff as I am sure they will be delighted with your feedback.

Within the renal unit we strive to ensure that the care delivered is person centred and that we are availabe to support both patients and their families.

kind regards

Morag
