"Breast Clinic (Fast track)"

About: Queen Alexandra Hospital

Just under a month ago, my GP fast tracked me to QAH Breast Clinic, within 24 hours I was given appointment at the clinic, feeling anxious,apprehensive, scared, the receptionist put me at ease.

Nice clean waiting area, nicely decorated with warm soothing shades, magazines, TV to put your mind at ease, water fountain

When I arrived for my appointment once again the receptionist put me at ease, I started with a mammogram, the radiologist was caring, kind, understanding, talked me through what was going to happen during the mammogram, I then awaited to see the consultant oncology doctor once again put me at ease, clean,tidy clinical room, explained what was going to happen with ultrasound & taking a biopsy.

I've been blessed, as my lump is benign, I'm awaiting day surgery within the next few weeks

Thank you from the bottom of my heart, for being kind and understanding

My experience from start to finish has been first class, it's so reassuring we have such wonderful people from Receptionist, Radiologist, Nursing Staff,Consultants , surgeons who make what can be as a extremely anxious time, as relaxing, stress free as human possible.
