"Bare below the elbows"

About: King George Hospital / Urology

According to the Department of Health staff in contact with patients should wear nothing below their elbows.

Yet there were two doctors on Iris ward who failed to comply with the policy.

The ward manager did not do anything to get them to adjust their sleeve lengths.

"Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback in relation to the doctors not being bare below the elbows.

Please accept my apologies this is not the level of service we expect from our staff.

Your comments will be passed to the service lead for future monitoring.

Kind regards

Dr Magda Smith

Associate Medical Director"
