After undergoing a relatively routine procedure back in November I then went on to experience major complications which resulted in an emergency admission and 2 trips to theatre.
I cannot thank the wonderful staff involved in my care enough. My initial admission was to QMC then I was transferred to City both were equally amazing!
Working in healthcare I have high expectations of care standards. Not only were these standards met but they were continually exceeded by all involved. I also had the pleasure of witnessing excellent care delivery to others!
When the NHS is at breaking point, moral is low and more and more is expected from you, in my hour of need none of that mattered. You were there. All day and all night, and not just Monday to Friday!
I appreciate all of your hard work, your sacrifices and the differences you make to strangers like me.
Thank you just doesn't seem enough!
