"My wife's recent stay in Jade ward"

Overall I was very pleased with the care my wife received when she was admitted to Jade ward in February.

The ward was very clean and the food was good. The ward manager and senior nurses kept me well informed about my wife's condition. I visited the ward every day and got an idea what it was like for patients and staff .I would say that not all of the nurses are of the standard of the best, some lacking empathy and understanding of what troubled patients need.My wife told me that she gained a great deal by talking to fellow patients.

After two weeks my wife had her medication re-established and was able to come home, totally transformed from the patient who was admitted, that can't be bad.

I’m really sorry to hear that you felt that some of the nurse’s lacked empathy and care. I continue to work hard in recruiting excellent nurses and I hope this will improve this experience for others.
