About: Alnwick Infirmary / General medicine

(as the patient),

I had to attend Alnwick Infirmary for an endoscopy at the day unit. I was naturally very nervous and worried about the procedure and results, but the consultant and day unit staff were wonderful. The consultant talked me through what he was going to do and made me feel less nervous about it. The staff in the day unit went out of their way to look after me before, during and after the procedure. All the staff were lovely and professional. A big thank you to Nurse Shani who was exceptional in her patience and care.
