"Friday night in A&E!"

About: Royal Surrey County Hospital / Accident and emergency

We went to A and E shortly after midnight on a Friday with some trepidation. We needn't have worried, we were seen quickly and treated extremely well from the triage nurse onwards. All the staff were professional, however the buildings are showing their age - the "majors" area is cramped, tired and with a complete lack of privacy - I could recall the symptoms and diagnosis of the people in the next 4 bays. Not really fit for purpose l'm afraid and certainly not respectful of privacy.

Thank you for taking the time to share feedback on your recent treatment at Royal Surrey.

We are currently looking to redesign our A and E department as we are aware that some improvements could be made.

Our A and E department work tirelessly and always do their very best for patients every day.

I know the team will be delighted to receive your kind words.

Once again, thank you for taking the time to share your views.
