First of all I rang up 111 to see weather I could get a appointment at the urgent care centre , it was a Saturday I got a appointment at 6;45 when I rang up about 11:00. I went in and it was extremely dirty in the waiting room. The doctor called me out and looked in my throat and said it was mild tonsillitis so I didn't need any antibiotics? Or they just didn't want to give them out ? Things got progressly worse so by the Tuesday I booked in with my gp and I told them about my situation and they were shocked , they looked in my throat and said it was a really bad case of tonsillitis and give me a extremely high dose age of antibiotics. I would like the urgent care centre to have better and more qualified and more cautious staff.
