About: City Health Care Partnership CIC / Minor injuries units

(as the patient),

I managed to get bike cleaner in my eye a week ago and it was a bit sore, but gradually became more and more swollen and painful.

My GP prescribed ointment for conjunctivitis but this didn't help so I ended up at MIU. I waited no more than five minutes then saw a GP, Dr McCollum.

She was friendly and professional and examined me thoroughly, then prescribed antibiotics for cellulitis. I am so grateful for this service as I was really starting to worry when the swelling crept down my cheek and across my nose. The whole thing took no more than 10 minutes. Fantastic.
