"5* Outstanding Care"

About: Dorset County Hospital / Ear, Nose and Throat

I know I can’t name names but I was on Abbotsbury Ward from Sunday 5th March – Weds 8th March with suspected Mastoiditis and whilst the ENT person is a little condescending and dismissive and the sister in charge (not the staff nurse or Assistant – they were both amazing!) on my last day was nowhere to be seen, (I don’t even know who it was), I cannot fault any of the staff that looked after me. Despite dwindling resources and lack of funding, the Sister in charge, staff nurses and assistants on the ward, plus the 3 locum/SHO doctors I saw were just utterley outstanding!

I received thorough, kind and attentive care from the sister that was on for most of my stay and the day / night staff who specifically attended to me. They were all absolute legends. They genuinely care about their patients and can’t do enough for you.

They all go the extra mile, ensure you get the care that you need, nothing is too much trouble and they always have a smile for you.

Personally, I can’t thank them enough and wish I could do something for them in return to show just how much they are appreciated. They all deserve the highest praise and recognition for their hard work. 5* all the way!
