About: Ellen's Glen House

(as a relative),

I know sites such as these are usually used for complaining but I would like to say a big Thankyou to the caring staff at Ellen's Glen. My mother has been there for the last 7 months and has improved so much that we have been able to move her to a nursing home closer to home. She is not always easy and has developed the urge to take her clothes off from time to time. The staff were very patient and kind to her. It is a peaceful and quiet environment which my mum will miss.

The food is not always good and I think more money needs to be allocated to food.

Thank you very much for sharing your feedback about your mum's time in Ellen's Glen. I was really pleased to hear that during your mum's stay in Ellen's Glen that she improved and was able to be transferred to a nursing home closer to her family, which must make it easier for visiting. I was sorry to hear about your mum's experiences of the food and hope that you were able to raise this directly with the staff in the ward as they are often able to help to make sure that your mum got the food that she enjoyed.
