I visited 8/03/2017 with my 88 year old father. Parking is difficult, disabled parking at the front is impossible despite having a blue badge.
A volunteer escorted us to the respiratory physiology department who was very helpful and pleasant. My father has difficulty walking long distances. Despite this there were no benches for him to rest outside, a leaning post or bench would greatly assist someone with mobility issues.
I was carrying my fathers oxygen tank, it's heavy and shouldn't be by naked lights. It really would help if the hospital and grounds were made no smoking. We were breathing in smoke at several points outside , none appeared designated smoking areas.
The department was busy, all staff were professional and helpful, however a designated receptionsionist would have helped register our arrival and keep us informed during our stay.
